Good question, and one which we ask ourselves on a daily basis
We know we're highly-trained, professional barbers, giving top-notch haircuts in our salon in West Malling. The rest is anyone's guess.
Between us we've over 70 years experience cutting hair, and we're pleased to share that expertise with our customers. We are all trained in ladies hairdressing, which helps immensely with some of the more choppy, un-clippered, longer cuts, but our MAIN passion is barbering.
We are also child-friendly with experience of dealing with those with special needs, or children who are nervous of having their crowning glory chopped. Above all, we take our time to make sure everyone feels at ease (the kid's tablets, loaded with great apps, may also be of some use!).

Phil: Owns the jointI've been a barbering for just over 30 years , after qualifying as a unisex hairdresser in 1988. Even now I get a buzz from the challenges that working in a barber shop brings. I love this job as much, if not more, than the day I started. My experience brings confidence.
Rachel: A GirlQualified since 2004, I have worked in the industry on both mens' and ladies' hair. I have trained with both Tigi and Goldwell . Barbering has been the best part of my career, and my colleagues are my friends too.

Nicole: Another Girl7 years in the game, I too have trained with both Tigi and Goldwell, and love the confidence that meeting so many people has bought me.
Nicky: Front Of House
Meet our trainee, but don't be fooled by his youthful looks, this lad can cut!
"I started out at 14 working part time in a barbers. I really enjoy the interaction with clients and staff, looking forward to work everyday". |
Carl: The powerhouseI have worked in a high-end, consumer-led industry before this and have brought the customer care skills learnt into barbering. I pride myself on all aspects of the job. I've always loved the ability to change a person's appearance and was cutting hair way before I officially qualified in 2011.
Kate: The other one
After over 10 years of barbering, I still like nothing more than a natter, and take great care to be proud of everything I produce. Love computer games and basically all things gnarly! This is be me in the picture, but Im the shop camelon, my hair changes month on month.
